Great man,I was always wondering how to wash my car in the winter without leaving swirl marks on the finish. This thread is awesome....well it's awesome for people that actually know what swirl marks are and like to take care of their cars. How many times do you recommend washing the car a month? Every week? Thanks

I have a 320i 2006 with Idrive and because when i bought it the gps wasn't legal in egypt so i have OBC instead of Navigation i have tried the Debug menu and couldn't find any thing to activate and/or view the navigation...
I know i have to get the dvd for maps but i wanna make sure its possible to make it work first...

Hi there, am from egypt too, got a 2009 320i LCI. I got it from yassin and he insured that it has teh GPD hardware installed and as you said it needs a DVD, However, the Bavarian said otherwise, though I was able to hack teh Hidden menu and see the GPS data but it does not read anything ... I am trying to find ways to hack it and make it work but no luck so far.. if you reached any ]thing or if i did lets communicate then .. My e-mail karimattallah@gmail.com

.. is probably short for "Fahrgestellnummer", which roughly translates to "Vehicle Frame number" - i.e. VIN, as assumed.

I have a '54 120d with Professional Nav (iDrive) - I have updated the Map Software to the 2008-1 version but Istill don't get the "Perspective" view option. Does anybody know how to enable this?
